Engineered for high-quality materials and features, the TFE2630LCR is real world tuned for superior performance in countless situations. Its driver array consists of two 6.5" Kevlar woofers, complete with rubber surrounds, and a 30mm Teteron dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet. For enhanced imaging from a myriad of mounting locations, this TimeFrame Evolution in-wall features adjustable tweeter level control and room boundary compensation. While the 3 settings for the tweeter (-2dB, 0dB, +2dB) help adjust the balance with the lower frequencies, the Room Boundary EQ eliminates unwanted low frequencies boosts in corner installations.
Enhanced by DCM's unique One Voice technology, the TFE2630LCRs are a part of the premier TimeFrame Evolution series. Voice characteristics and engineering in all the models of both the TimeFrame Evolution and TimePiece series of loudspeakers are matched to provide full, rich sound no matter which models are being used together. It is finally possible to combine in-ceiling, cabinets, and specialty speakers into a fluid multi-channel system without sacrificing sound quality.
