Following in the bold footsteps of its bad-ass big brother, MTX Audio's Thunder8500 SuperWoofer pounds. At close to 50 pounds, Thunder8500 SuperWoofers are available in 15", 12" and 10" models that are all capable of handling between 500 to 600 watts RMS. These woofers deliver enormous bass because of their die cast aluminum frame, solid steel pole piece, aluminum voice coil, aluminum shorting ring, and over 7 pounds of magnet.

Making other woofers just seem wimpy, this beefy, intimidating woofer has proven its mettle by surviving every abusive testing method our engineers could muster. And it's never let us down. Many of the awe-inspiring features found in Thunder9500 SuperWoofers were incorporated into the design of Thunder8500s, including an Aluminum Shorting Ring, Machined Cast Aluminum Basket.
