I really like this amp… when it comes to power, you always get what you pay for. To max this amp out I recommend two MTX Thunder5500 12”s. It sounds great when hooked up correctly. Great job MTX!

This amp is first class. A) It’s way underrated RMS power-wise. B) The new fan tech works great and allows you to pound all day on the amp.

This amp kicks! I’m a real big nerd when it comes to systems, and let me tell you this is a great amp. This is my 3rd subwoofer amp…I have an amp [powering] my 2 6x9 speakers and this MTX [amp powering] my two 12” [subwoofers]. This system pounds…it stays extremely cool, especially compared to the one amp I used to have that could actually fry an egg…[that’s how hot it would get]. So if you’re willing to spend some money, do it on this amp, it will…blow the competition away!

I paired this amp with two Thunder5500 series MTX subs…and had no problems whatsoever, this amp puts out some good power. It actually tests at 740 watts compared to its advertised 600 watts. Unlike most amp makers, MTX actually underrates their amps compared to others who claim higher numbers. Once again another quality product from MTX.
