(Phoenix, AZ) - MTX Audio, the leader in high performance mobile audio products, announces that MTX M.M.A. standout, Ryan Bader, (6-0) will join his fellow MTX Fight Team members and TUF Alumni, Jesse Forbes (TUF-3) and C.B. Dollaway (TUF-7), as a cast member on the The Ultimate Fighter 8, the latest series coordinated by the UFC to be broadcast on Spike TV.
"I came on the show because my No. 1 goal is to be in the UFC, and this is a great catalyst for that," the 24-year-old MTX MMA Team Fighter, Ryan Bader, said. "The exposure you get off the show -- you can't beat it. And you can show your skills to a wide array of people.”
Bader is a former 2-time Division I All-American wrestler, 3-time PAC-10 champion, and has the 8th most career wrestling wins in Arizona State University history. His transition into MMA has been a natural one. Despite his collegiate wrestling background, his “all go, no quit” attitude has earned him a reputation not to be taken lightly. In the past 13 months, he has fought in the IFO, WFC, XCC and the KOTC sanctions and won every battle.
After, ending five of his six victories early, Bader has been given the opportunity of a lifetime by competing for a UFC contract on The Ultimate Fighter reality show. His dedication and work ethic have gotten him to where he is today and his training at Arizona Combat Sports in Tempe, Arizona has succeeded in combining his wrestling skills with striking and Jiu Jitsu making him a well-rounded MMA fighter.
