(Phoenix, AZ) - MTX Audio, the leader in high performance mobile audio products, announces that MTX MMA Fight Team member, Ryan “Darth” Bader, is set to fight in The Ultimate Fighter 8 (TUF) Finale on Saturday, December 13th in Las Vegas, NV. The event will air live on Spike TV 9pm EST/PST.
After MTX MMA team member, C.B. Dollaway, had great success in TUF 7, teammate and roommate, Ryan Bader, decided to give it a shot as a light heavyweight in TUF 8. His experience as a three-time PAC 10 Champion and two-time NCAA Division I All-American wrestler sparked his MMA career and now as a 24-year-old professional MMA fighter, he has the biggest fight of his young career on December 13th.
Bader will face Vinny Magalhaes, a jiu-jitsu phenom with world championships in submission grappling at the Pan American Games, the Brazilian Nationals, and the American Nationals to name a few. During The Ultimate Fighter 8 reality series on Spike TV, Magalhaes easily dismantled his opponents with world class submissions but Bader is confident that his stand up game and wrestling skills will make him victorious. “I feel that I match up very well with him,” stated Bader. “He is amazing on the ground, but with my wrestling, I feel that I can dictate where the fight takes place. I feel that I am better on my feet and that I am a lot more mentally tough, and if it goes to the later rounds, I will have a definite advantage.”
In Bader’s short MMA career, he has a 7-0 record with 1 submission, 4 TKO’s, 1 KO, and 1 decision. His combination of unnatural strength, top level jiu-jitsu training under Gustavo Dantas, top level wrestling background from Arizona State University, and full-time training at Arizona Combat Sports under Todd and Trevor Lally is the recipe for success that Bader is using to become one of the top names in MMA. Bader also trains with other MTX MMA fighters such as WEC Lightweight Champ, Jamie Varner, Steve and Ray Steinbeiss, UFC veteran Thales Leites, TUF 7 standouts Matthew Riddle and C.B. Dollaway, and TUF 3 veteran, Jesse Forbes.
The Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale is packed full of exciting fights with many of the same fighters from the reality series taking on matchups that fans have been wanting to see. The fight card includes:

Dollaway will step into the cage at UFC 92 against Mike Massenzio on PPV December 27th, Jamie Varner will defend his WEC Lightweight title against Donald Cerrone on January 25th, and MTX will host its second annual MTX Fight Night during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on January 9th at The Riviera Hotel and Casino.
