Viewers around the world saw the MTX Audio JackHammer 22" woofer featured on MTV's Pimp My Ride when it aired in August. It was the highest rated episode of the entire series, and it continues to get huge ratings during repeat episodes. The excitement about the JackHammer continues to grow as the world anticipates its arrival. However, because of the size and budget contstraints, the 22" model isn't practical for many customers. Mr. Scrape, a custom install shop and Authorized MTX retailer in Sumter, South Carolina looked no further than their once tow vehicle Hummer H2 for their next custom demo vehicle. Outfitting the H2 with countless custom goodies including 28" rims and a beastly MTX install, Mr. Scrape created one of the most eye-catching ways to advertise its custom installation work. The "H28" includes MTX Thunder amplifiers, Thunder9500 Superwoofers and MTX separates in a fully customized install also featuring the MTX logo throughout the vehicle. "Mr. Scrape felt, as a shop, that MTX was a great company for audio equipment," Williams said in the magazine feature. "Great companies associate themselves with other great companies." 
MTX sponsored Robosaurus and BIGFOOT proved that they're larger and louder than life in the August 15, 2005 issue of Life Magazine. MTX's Beast of Bass Robosaurus was on the cover of the magazine with a black and white photo essay included on the inside. BIGFOOT was pictured on the following page flying through the air sporting the MTX and StreetWires logos. Life Magazine is distributed to over 12,000,000 readers nationwide and is packaged weekly with the Sunday paper. 
The August 2005 issue of RPM Motoring Monthly magazine features a two-page profile on the MTX Ford Ranger. In the article, the magazine comments that this truck isn't your standard off-roader. Featuring MTX Thunder7500 Superwoofers, Thunder1501D amplifiers and Thunder components, the MTX Ranger is a dream come true for any bass head looking for an outrageous experience whether it's on or off the road.
Issue 35 of Trucks Magazine pays homage to one of the most hard rockin' vehicles around with its six-page feature on the MTX James Hetfield Ford F150. The truck is loaded with MTX and StreetWires equipment and is customized right down to the Maltese cross taillights. The article presents a vivid account of every installation detail and comments that the MTX system in the truck generates "the Mother Lode of sound."
Since the release of the XXX2: State of the Union, automotive enthusiasts and bass heads alike have swarmed around MTX's XXX2 Avalanche that made its cinematic debut in the summer blockbuster. In the September issue of Performance Auto & Sound magazine, the vehicle landed the cover of the "Fueled" section and a four-page feature detailing every element of the installation and giving props to the hard-hitting MTX gear installed within. Featuring MTX 6.5" component speakers, Thunder4500 woofers, two compression horns from the MTX TP112 DJ speakers and Thunder4252 and Thunder3202 amplifiers, this bass beast is "armed to the teeth with the most advanced custom electronics."
