We have found you can get better bass response for a more affordable price using the Thunder form systems. You just can't build something that will give you the air space using wood & a fiberglass hand made enclosure would cost more & be nowhere near as nice. Win Win for everyone.

Good Buy

I am going to give a long review and I hope it helps others. So I searched the internet on many websites for reviews on this specific setup. I didn't find a whole lot of info. I ended up buying this unit last week and I am very happy, I have had many sound systems in different vehicles over the years and used all of the top of the line brand names. Im very pleased with this. It gives a surprising amount of bass for how small the unit is, it doesn't give a ton of low end booming power like my 12 inch R's and I didn't expect it to. But it is pretty loud. Its GREAT for a single 10 inch and I am impressed with how simple it is. It took me about 3 hours of wiring/ hiding every wire to look factory but the install was a breeze. They really do make it easy for someone to enhance their stereo. This is in my 2013 Sierra ext cab, the box fits perfectly where it needs to behind the drivers seat and has plenty of room for your feet. It does come with everything you need to do the install, like fuses 10gauge power/ ground wires, and a remote wire, also it came with a wire/knob for adjusting the gain level so you can adjust it from up front. This was an awesome surprise as I was going to purchase this separately. It took about 10 minutes of tuning for the music I listen to mostly "rock/country/" Also if you want a stock look without tapping into speaker wires you can get PAC's unit. AOEM GM-1416, this is not necessary but I have tried it both ways. I just like the thought of plug and play, like I said before, totally optional. I hope this helps anyone who took the time to read all this crap. Thanks
