Easy Access Controls

Accessing the fully adjustable gain, low pass filter, subsonic filter and bass boost from the front panel allows for easy adjustment after the unit is installed. This layout is simple and elegant, giving the JH5001 a sophisticated look with the convenience of easy accessibility.

Only What You Need

The JH5001 is designed for one thing, bringing the power to whatever subwoofers you hook it up to. The input section features high quality RCAs for easy connection to after market head units or processors. The Input Level selection is either Pre or Spk In so it can also be used with factory radios that don't have RCA outputs. The Auto Turn On feature is selectable, enabling the unit to turn on when it senses signal, eliminating the need to run a remote wire, or it can be turned on using a remote wire, the choice is yours.

High Quality Power and Speaker Connections

The JH5001 can accept up to a standard 4-gauge power and ground wire for optimal performance. The speaker terminals can accept up to 12-gauge speaker. The speaker connection terminal has two sets of positive and negative terminals for easy wiring, the JH5001 can play loads down to 1Ω. Both sets of connectors use set screw style fittings that ensure proper connection and continual signal transfer.

At first the sound was too harsh, then I turn down the sub output from the deck to -12 and the sound way better. Distinctly different than an AB amp, but still very cool. More sonic than warm is the difference.

Great, inexpensive amp! Great for a starter or budget system, you can run it with 8GA power cable, it is indeed 1 ohm stable, comes with remote control bass knob and compact enough to fit under front seat.

i have this mated to a Kicker 48CVTDF102 (350w RMS at 2ohms). this amp works absolutely perfectly with that sub. i was a little worried about where i have it mounted and not getting enough air. but this amp has worked perfectly at high gain, without going into protect. i strongly recommend this amp.

This amp pushes my two twelve inch mtx dvc 4ohm subs so well at a little over half gain that it could make you go deaf if you listened to it loud for too long. I love it. It sounds phenomenal.

A great amplifier. Small but powerful. I have mine driving a 12" subwoofer @ 1-ohm stability in a 2019 Ram 1500 crew cab. I feel like I'm in a theatre with THX sound every time I'm driving my truck. The MTX JackHammer amplifier is AWESOME!!!
