The RT250D was designed for bulletproof reliability. This small chassis amplifier utilizes multiple MTX patented technologies to deliver exceptional sound quality and performance. Patented Adaptive Class D design, reduces radio frequency interference (RFI) that is generated in traditional class D designs by the MOSFET switching. Adaptive class D shifts generated frequencies away from the radio band ensuring superior sound quality. Patented Smart Engage auto turn on reduces installation time by allowing you to take signal from the rear deck speakers in your vehicle and connect them to the amplifier's input. When signal is sensed in the speakers, the amplifier will automatically turn on eliminating the need to run a remote wire.
Intelligent Surface Mount design reduces cross talk between amplifier component sections. Using smaller more vibration resistant parts, the sections of the amplifier can each be placed into their own "neighborhood" reducing cross talk interference and improving sound quality. The dual sided circuit board ensures maximum current and signal transfer across the board, making the amplifier extremely efficient in producing sound but also in dissipating heat from critical components.
